Welcome to Myrtle!

We're an independently owned boutique that specializes in independent female designers from around the world.  

Myrtle was founded in 2011 as a brick and mortar destination showcasing the work of female designers in a comfortable place to see, touch, and most importantly...try on! We love the way women design and construct clothing for other women! Our range is varied, but you're sure to see a lot of functional pockets and bra strap friendly tops. Fabric is super important to us, whether it's a machine-washable cotton or a luxurious silk.

Myrtle was named for its founder's great-great-grandmother (who was still living when she was born!); it's also a flower which symbolizes love. We see longevity, heritage and beauty as important hallmarks of everything we sell. This is also why you'll always see vintage among our collection--you can't beat the attention to detail or cuts that last despite passing trends.

We also carry complementary apothecary, home and gifts items by female designers.

From 2011 to 2017 we called the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles home; in 2018 we moved into our new space at Row DTLA!
